How are votes counted on Rovexa Launch?
Votes run on strict rules and cannot be purchased. Here's how the system works on the bench.

Getting on the ballot
To vote, you need a Rovexa Launch account with a confirmed email address. Once verified, you can cast one vote per listing, and only on launches that are currently live.
The sequence
If you have a launch of your own on Rovexa, there is one rule: vote for someone else first. Only after you have voted on another maker's work can you vote for your own.
Protection measures
The system runs rate limits—per hour and per day—to prevent abuse. If a batch of votes arrives in a suspicious burst, they are held for review and not counted until our team clears them. Occasionally, a quick human check may appear on the screen.
Votes stay independent
Votes are a separate readout from paid ranking (the billboard), verification status, and factual metrics like Domain Rating. These systems do not cross over. Payment has no effect on your vote count. This is by design.
Active members who vote regularly can earn influence, which gives their vote more weight in the readout. But the count itself cannot be bought. What you see is what the community actually cast.
Questions people ask
- Can I buy votes for my launch?
- No. Votes, paid ranking, and verification are separate systems. Payment does not change a vote count. The readout shows what community members have actually cast.
- What stops people gaming the vote?
- Rate limits, human review, and burst detection flag suspicious patterns. Votes held for review are not counted until cleared by our team.
- Does my vote matter more if I am active?
- Members who vote regularly can build influence, which gives their vote more weight. But the total vote count itself remains honest and cannot be altered by payment.
