What is Real User Monitoring (RUM)?

Real User Monitoring measures how real visitors experience your website. It captures metrics like Core Web Vitals, page load times, interaction delays, layout shifts, and network conditions directly from the user's browser. RUM helps you understand how your site performs in real-world conditions across different devices, locations, and connection types.

Why should I use Calibre RUM?

Calibre RUM focuses on actionable insight. It highlights your highest-traffic pages, the most impactful performance issues, and the users most affected. You get segmentation across device types, networks, regions, and pages, plus privacy-first design, small script size, and affordable pricing with sampling controls.

Is Calibre RUM privacy friendly?

Yes. Calibre RUM uses no cookies, avoids collecting personal data, stores anonymous session identifiers only in the browser's sessionStorage, and supports coarse geolocation with optional EU opt-out. It is designed for modern privacy expectations and compliance requirements.

How many tests do I need?

One test equals a single URL and Test Profile combination. The number of tests rises with the number of Pages (unique URLs) and Test Profiles and is multiplied by your test schedule. You can monitor your usage on the Billing page.

What payment methods do you accept?

Calibre accepts credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA Direct Debit (EUR plans only) and BECS Direct Debit (AUD plans only) payments. Invoice payment is available on the Company plan.
