About Browser Extensions & Plugins

This is the bench for add-ons: the extensions, plugins and add-ons that live inside something else. A browser, a content system or a design tool is the host, and the product only works as well as it behaves there. That is what we look at first. Does it install cleanly, stay quiet when idle and do the one job it claims?

Each listing here is a product or business that someone has put forward for review. Open a page and you get the founder's own profile, checked and edited by them, so you can judge the pitch against the thing itself. Use the subcategories to pick your host, then filter within it. Newest launches come first by default, and you can re-sort by community votes. Votes can never be bought, so the order is not for sale. Compare permissions asked, what data leaves your machine, how updates are handled and what happens when the host changes underneath it.

Browser Extensions & Plugins: questions answered

What belongs in Browser Extensions & Plugins?
Products that run inside a host application: browser extensions, add-ons for other browsers, CMS plugins and plugins for design or productivity apps. If the product is a standalone app or website that merely has an optional connector, it usually fits better in its own field.
How do I choose between the subcategories?
Pick the host the product needs in order to run. A tool that installs from a browser's store goes under that browser's group, a site-builder add-on under WordPress, and anything that opens inside a design or work app under Figma & app plugins. Each listing has exactly one main category.
Can my plugin appear in more than one subcategory?
Every listing has one main category, chosen at submission and included free. If your product spans several hosts, a paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5, so people browsing those areas can find it too.
How do I get an extension or plugin listed?
Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from that site, then you check and edit every field before anything goes live. A paid launch costs $5; a free listing joins a queue of about 6-8 weeks.
What should I compare before installing one?
Start with the permissions it requests and whether they match the job. Then check where your data goes, how often it is updated, whether it slows the host and what happens if you remove it. A clear profile and an honest list of limits are good signs.
